ويعد من أكثر أنواع طيور الحب انتشارًا في التربية، تتميز بكون لونها وجسمها أخضر اللون، مع لون وردي إلى أحمر للوجه والعنق من الأسفل، وريش ذيل ذو لون أزرق، ومنقار داكن اللون، كما أن طيور الحب ذات الوجه الخوخي تعد من أكثر طيور الحب التي يتم تربيتها في المنازل، لكونها أقل عدوانية من غيرها.
طيور الحب الملثمين
هي ببغاوات صغيرات منتشرة في أفريقيا، تعرف باسم طيور الحب الملونة المقنعة، وتعرف أيضًا باسم طيور الحب الصفراء، يمكن الحصول على قطعان منها في شمال شرق كينيا والمناطق الساحلية في تنزانيا.
طيور الحب السوداء

هو من جنس طيور الحب، لونه أخضر وله لون برتقالي على صدره ورأسه العلوي، وهو من الببغاء الأفريقية.

تعد طيور الحب ذات الأجنحة السوداء، وهي من الطيور المتوطنة بشكل كبير في أفريقيا، خاصة في المناطق الجبلية في إريتريا، وفي المرتفعات الجنوبية الغربية لإثيوبيا.

تربية طيور الحب في المنزل
سنستعرض معكم بعض الإرشادات والنصائح لتربية طيور الحب في المنزل، وهي:
1- مسكن طيور الحب
يُوصى بأن يحظى الزوج الواحد من طيور الحب على قفص ارتفاعه لا يقل عن 81 سم، ولا يقل عرضه وطوله عن نصف متر، كما يجب الابتعاد عن وضع أكثر من صنف من طيور الحب في القفص الواحد، لأن هذا الأمر قد يتسبب في حدوث صراعات بينهم
تعليق الأطباق الخاصة بالأكل والشراب على جوانب القفص، كما يجب الحذر من وضع هذه الأطباق على الأرض حتى لا تتعرض هذه الأطباق للتلوث بأوساخ الطيور.
احرص على عدم وضع المواد البلاستيكية، داخل القفص، حتى لا يقوم الطائر بأكلها، كما ينصح بوضع فروع من الأشجار داخل قفص طيور الحب، يوصى بوضع طيور الحب في أماكن جيدة التهوية، ويصل إليها الشمس بشكل كويس، وتدفئتها في حالة فصل الشتاء وكون الجو بارد.
2- طعام طيور الحب اليومي
يحتاج طائر الحب إلى معدل غذائي يومي يتراوح بين 45 إلى 60 جرام من الطعام للطائر الواحد، كما يجب أن تشتمل النظام الغذائي على الأعلاف، والفيتامينات، وبعض المكملات الغذائية، عن طريق تناول مجموعة من الخضروات والفواكه، المكسرات تعد مصدر جيد بالنسبة لطيور الحب للحصول على نسبة البروتينات.
نصائح لتربية طيور الحب
- طيور الحب طيور مشاكسة وتحب اللعب، والمرح، لذلك ينصح بوضع مجموعة من الألعاب للطيور داخل القفص لتسليتها، كالسلالم.
- احرص على تنظيف القفص بشكل يومي، وتعقيمه بشكل أسبوعي.
- المتابعة الدورية مع الطبيب البيطري، يمكن القيام بهذه العملية مرة في السنة.
- احرص على تغيير مياه الشرب بشكل يومي.
