_ الكشف عن عدد خلايا كرات الدم البيضاء والتي في الغالب تكون خلايا كرات الدم الحمراء موزعة من 4300 إلى 10800 خلية لكل ميلليمتر مكعب.
_ الكشف عن العدد التفاضلي لخلايا الدم البيضاء.
_ الكشف عن عدد كرات الدم الحمراء
_ بيان بعدد الصفائح الدموية.

تحليل cbc غير مرتبط بعمر معين، فيمكن إجراء تحليل cbc للأطفال، بل إجراء هذا التحليل مهم للأطفال أكثر من البالغين، لتحديد ما يحدث في أجسادهم،فعادة لا يستطيع الأطفال تحديد الشكوي.
