منذ اللحظة الأولى التي يتم فيها إعلان نتائج الشهادة الإعدادية، يتوجه العديد من خريجي الشهادة الإعدادية، لمدارس القوات المسلحة، وتعد إحدى بدائل الثانوية العامة، وحلمًا للكثير من البنين والبنات، وتبدأ رحلة البحث عن المدارس العسكرية من قبل الطلاب لمعرفة أماكن تلك المدارس وأنوعها، والتفاصيل الخاصة بالتقديم وشروط المطلوبة للالتحاق بها، وكذلك أنوع الإختبارات التي تتم بها.

- تقديم شهادة تفيد أن الطالب حسن السيرة والسمعة.
- ألا يقل عمر الطالب عن 14 عام ولا يزيد عن 17 عام.

- اختبار لقياس المتسوي العلمي.
- اختبار صحة الجسم وخلوه من أي أمراض.
- اختبارات بدنية.
- الاختبارات المهارية والنفسية.
ما هي الأوراق المطلوبة لتقديم في المدارس السكرية
- قيد عائلي للأسرة مع إحضار 4 نسخ منها
- إحضار بيان نجاح الطالب معتمد من الإدارة التعليمية التابع لها.
- يجب إحضار 16 صورة شخصية للطالب بمقاس 4*6 بخلفية بيضاء.
- إحضار 2 صورة من شهادة ميلاد الطالب كمبيوتر
- تعليم أزهري فيجب على الطالب أن يحضر موافق كتابية من المنطقة الأزهرية التابع لها.
- حضار صحيفة الحالة الجنائية للطالب وإحضار 4 نسخ منها
- حضار شهادة صحية مختومة من أي مستشفى حكومي
- إحضار 2 صورة من شهادة ميلاد الطالب كمبيوتر.
