_احرص على تناول الدهون غير المشبعة، التي تعمل على مقاومة الإنسولين لدى مرضى السكر من النوع الثاني.
نظام غذائي لمرضى السكر النوع الأول
أوضحت وزارة الزراعة الأمريكية، نظام غذائي لمرضى السكر النوع الأول الهدف من هذا النظام هو الحفاظ على مستويات السكر في الدم، وإليكم الهرم الغذائي الذي نصحت به الوزارة.
_تناول 6 أو أكثر من النشويات بشكل يومي، النشويات مثل: الفول والبطاطا وخبز القمح الكامل.

_ تحتوي الأطعمة الغنية بالبروتين مثل البيض والأسماك والدواجن، على العديد من العناصر الغذائية المفيدة لمرضى السكر.
_الدهون الصحية للقلب مثل زيت الزيتون والسمسم.
فوائد الأسماك الدهنية لمرضى السكر
الأسماك الدهنية تحتوي على أحماض أوميغا 3 الدهنية المهمة لصحة القلب، وتجدر الإشارة إلى أن مرضى السكر معرضون للإصابة بشكل كبير للإصابة بأمراض القلب، فالأسماك الدهنية في الحفاظ على صحتهم، وينصح بتناول أسماك السردين والسلمون والرنجة، والأنشوجة، والماكريل.
أطعمة تعمل على زيادة الوزن لمريض السكر
_مريض السكر النحيف يحتاج إلى تناول العديد من الأطعمة التي تمتع بسعرات حرارية عاليى، لأن الجسم يكون غير قادر على تخزين ما يأكله، ومن المهم تزويد الجسم بالسعرات الحرارية بانتظام عن طريق تناول عدة وجبات صغيرة في اليوم.

حمية غذائية لمرضى السكر والضغط
بالنسبة لمريض الضغط المرتفع يفضل عدم تناول الأطعمة مثل اللحوم والفجل، والجزر، والسبانخ، والفطائر المحلاة، والتين والزبيب المجففين، وعصير جوز الهند والتوابل والمخللات والخبز المحتوي على الملح وملح الطعام والبيض، ويجب اللوجوء إلى دكتور تغذية لتوضيح نظام غذائي يسير عليه.
