- يوجد في سورة الضحى من الآيات ما يجعلها من المخففات الروحانية على المؤمن، وأن الله سبحانه وتعالى لن يترك عباده مهما اشتد عليهم البلاء.
- وأنه مهما طال الليل لابد من طلوع الشمس، وأن الله تعالى مفرج الهموم، وأن لكل ابتلاء مخرج من عند الله بإذن الله تعالى.
- الابتلاء من الله عز وجل وهو وحده مفرج كل الهموم.
- في سورة الضحى إشارة من الله عز وجل أن الحياة زائلة والدار الآخرة خير وأبقى
- كما أن في سورة الضحى آيات تدل على عوض الله تعالى وأن الله تعالى كريم قال تعالى: (ولسوف يعطيك ربك فترضى).

- روي عن أبي كعب رضي الله عنه، أن الرسول الكريم صل الله عليه وسلم.
- قال: “من قرأ سورة الضحى 7 مرات عند طلوع الشمس وعند غروبها لم يضع منه ضائع ولا يهرب له هارب ولا يسرق له سارق من بيته، ولا يقع في بيته فساد ولا يدخله وباء ولا طاعون، وكل سارق أو طارق يقرب إلى بيته وسار بليل، يجد على بيته سورًا من حديد ولا يجد لمنزله سبيلاً “.
فضل قراءة سورة الضحى للزواج
- يرى الكثير من العلماء أن سورة الضحى لها من الفوائد ما يجعلها من السور التي تفرج الهموم وتعجل بالزواج.
- وكانت سورة فضل في التخلص من العنوسة أسوة لكونها نزلت على الرسول صلى الله عليه لتفريج همه، وإزالة عنه ما يهمه ويغمه.
- وهناك أحد العلماء ذهب إلى قول أن قراءة سورة الضحى في اليوم أربعين مرة يعجل بالزواج والله تعالى أعلى وأعلم.

سبب نزول سورة الضحى
- ورد في سبب نزول سورة الضحى أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قد أصابه المرض فلم يصلي قيام الليل.
- فجاءته سيدة يقال أنها زوجة أبو لهب.
- وقالت له أرجو أن يكون شيطانك قد تركك، فلم أرك تصلي لليلتين أو أكثر.
- فأنزل الله ردًا على قولها سورة والضحى، دلالة على أن الله تعالى لم يترك رسوله، وأنه دائمًا معه.
سبب نزول والضحى والليل إذا سجى ما ودعك ربك وما قلى
- أن سيدنا جبريل عليه السلام قد تأخر على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في نزول الوحي، فخاف النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقالت له السيدة خديجة لا بدَّ أنّ الله قد تركك بسبب خوفك؛ فأنزل الله الآية السابقة.
- وقيل أن سبب نزول الآية أن جروًا دخل إلى بيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم واستقر أسفل السرير حتى مات، فقال الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم لخادمته وتدعى خولة ما بال بيتي؟ لم ينزل عليّ جبريل منذ أيام.
- فقامت السيدة خولة بتنظيف البيت ووجدت الجرو ميتًا تحت السرير، فأخرجته خارج الدار، وما إن خرج حتَّى ارتعدت لحية الرسول، وكان الوحي ينزل عليه بعد الرعدة، ونزلت الآية السابقة.
