يعفى من الخدمة العسكرية بشكل نهائي من تتطابق معه الشروط التي حددتها وزارة الدفاع، و تتمثل حالات الإعفاء من الجيش في:
- في حالة الأبن الوحيد، ويكون الأب متوفي أو يكون الأب غير قادر على العمل.
- إذا كان الشخص المتقدم للتجنيد وأداء الخدمة العسكرية، هو الأكبر بين إخوته الذين يستحقون أداء الخدمة العسكرية، من إخوة او أبناء الشخص الذي تم إستشهاده.
- إذا كان الشخص الذي يتقدم للتجنيد قد تعرض للإصابة، والتي أثرت عليه وجعلته عاجزًا وغير قادر على العمل، وتوفير احتياجاته المعيشية وهذا يرجع للعمليات العسكرية.
- الشخص المستحق من التجنيد، هو أكبر الأشخاص المستحقين للخدمة العسكرية من إخوة أو أبناء الضباط أو المجندين المتطوعين في الجيش، والذين توفوا بسبب العمليات العسكرية.

- في حالة إعفاء المتقدم من الخدمة العسكرية طبيًا بسبب البصر اوضعف الرؤية.
- إعفاء المتقدم من الخدمة العسكرية طبيًا بسبب أمراض متعلقة بدوالي الخصية.
ولكن في الغالب لا يمكن إعتبار شهادة الإعفاء لمشاكل طبية أضرارها مؤثرة بدرجة كبيرة إلا إذا كانت الحالة صعبة ومستعصية بدرجة كبيرة.

خطوات إستخراج شهادة الإعفاء من الجيش
توجد خطوات يجب إتباعها من أجل إستخراج شهادة الإعفاء من الجيش، تتمثل هذه الخطوات في:
هناك مجموعة من الرسوم التي دفعها من أجل الحصول على شهادة الإعفاء.
- تحديد المكان الذي من المقرر أن يقوم الشخص بإستلام شهادة الإعفاء منه.
- الضغط على أمر تسجيل البيانات.
- الإحتفاظ برقم الطلب بعد القيام بتسجيل البيانات.
- دراسة طلب حالات الإعفاء من الجيش من الخدمة العسكرية.

- قم بكتابة البيانات الرئيسية والتي تتمثل في كتابة الرقم القومي والإسم ثلاثى.
- القيام بتسديد الرسوم والتكاليف المحددة لاستخراج الشهادة.
