- إيقاف مدرب الفريق عن العمل لمدة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات متتالية.
- إيقاف 4 من اللاعبين عن ممارسة اللعب حتى إنتهاء موسم كرة القدم لهذا العام.
- تلقى كل لاعبي الفريقين إنذارًا.

- تعود أكبر نتيجة سجلت إلى نسخة عام 1982، حيث استطاع منتخب المجر الفوز على نظيره السلفادوري بنتيجة 10-1، وشهدت المباراة تسجيل أسرع “هاتريك” (ثلاثة أهداف) في تاريخ كأس العالم.
- بتوقيع اللاعب لازلو كيس حيث سجل 3 أهداف في 8 دقائق وتحديدًا قي الدقائق “70، 73 و 78″، وهو أول هاتريك يحرزه لاعب بديل.
- وحظيت المباراة بإدارة الحكم البحريني إبراهيم يوسف الدوي، ودون اسمه في التاريخ كأول حكم خليجي يدير مباريات كأس العالم.
