لكن وعلى الرغم من خطورة العقاقير التي تستخدم مع الآلام الشديدة باعتبارها مسكنات أو مخدر قوي، إلا أن هذا الدواء لا يسبب الإدمان.
ما هي دواعي استعمال سيمبالتا؟
- يستخدم في أوجاع العضلات أو العظام المزمنة لدى البالغين، مثل الآم أسفل الظهر، أو الآم التهاب المفاصل.
وقد يستخدم أيضا في حالات أخرى قد يفقد فيها المريض السيطرة على نفسه، مثل تسرب البول بشكل عفوى ومتكرر وهو ما يسمى (التبول اللاإرادي، يوصف أيضا في علاج التهاب الأعصاب الطرفية. - كما يستهدم في علاج التهاب الفيروسات، وذلك إذا امتد تأثيرها على الأعصاب، الاعتلال العصبي السكري لدى مرضى السكري البالغ

طريقة تناول سيمبالتا
ويعطي في أول الجرعة يوميا لمدة أسبوع سواء كان ذلك بعد الطعام أو قبله، ثم بعد ذلك نرى إذا كانت هناك استجابة من الجسم للعلاج أم لا، وأيضا من من الممكن أن تزيد هذه الجرعة لـ ١٢٠ وقد تصل إلى ١٨٠ مليجرام.
ما هي الأعراض الجانبية لدواء سيمبالتا؟
ومن الآثار الجانبية لعلاج الـ سيمبالاتا:
- الجفاف، فقد يشعر المريض بجفاف لبعض الوقت وهو أمر شائع بين بعض الأدوية التي تعالج الاكتئاب.
- مشاكل في النظر وهو من الآثار أيضا الجانبية الشائعة في علاج الاكتئاب.
- و إذا تم تناوله بكميات كبيرة يمكن أن يؤدي إلى ارتفاع في الضغط لمن يعاني منه، لذا قبل البدء في العلاج ينبغي علي المريض إبلاغ الطبيب المعالج بهذه المشاكل حتى يقوم بإعطائه الجرعات المناسبة.

- إمساك
- أرق أو خمول
- غثيان
- زيادة التعرق
هل يتفاعل سيمبالاتا مع الأدوية الأخرى؟
كما أن سيبمالاتا يتفاعل مع الأدوية الأخرى، لذا يجب قبل البدء في المعالجة إخبار الطبيب إذا ما كنت تتناول أي من الأدوية الأخرى المضادة للاكتئاب.
ومن الضروري أيضا أن نعرف أنه إذا قام المريض بشكل تلقائي من نفسه بوقف هذا الدواء، فقد يواجه أعراض الانسحاب، بما في ذلك تقلبات المزاج، أو الارتباك أو أحاسيس تشبه الصدمات الكهربائية في اليدين أو القدمين.
هل يسبب سيمبالتا زيادة الوزن؟

نعم ولكن إذا تناوله المريض بكمات كبيرة بكميات كبيرة وتحديدًا للمرضى الذين يعانون من ارتفاع في الضغط من الأساس، لذا قبل البدء في العلاج ينبغي علي المريض إبلاغ الطبيب المعالج بهذه المشاكل حتى يقوم بإعطائه الجرعات المناسبة
