_ قم بمد الذراعين للأمام بشكل مستقيم.
_ ابقي على هذه الوضعية لمدة 30 ثانية ثم كررها على الساق الأخرى.

تساعد تمارين عضلات الفخذ على تقويم الركبة، كما تعمل هذه التمارين على إراحة العضلات الرباعية الضيقة والتخفيف من ألم الشد العضلي والتشنجات في منطقة الساق، وعليك القيام بالأمور الآتية حتى تقوم بعمل التمرين بشكل صحيح.
قف بشكل مستقيم، وباعد الساقين عن بعضهما قليلًا.
اثني إحدى الساقين للخلف، وامسك القدم بيدك.
ابقى على هذه الوضعية مدة 30 ثانية، وإذا شعرت بأي ألم توقف، ثم قم بتكرار التمرين على الجانب الآخر.

يعد هذا التمرين من التمارين الهامة التي تعمل على التخلص من الشد العضلي في الساق، والتخلص من التشنجات في هذه المنطقة، ويتم التمرين كالتالي:
اجلس بشكل مستقيم، ومد الساقين إلى الأمام.
ابقي الظهر مستقيمًا، ثم قم بوضع خلف القدمين، وحافظ على استقامة الظهر والذراعين.
ابقي على هذه الوضعية مدة 30 ثانية، وكرر التمرين أكثر من مرة خلال اليوم.

هناك العديد من الأدوية التي يتم استخدامها في علاج التشنجات ومن هذه الأدوية ما يلي:
باكلوفين (Baclofen).
كاريسوبرودول (Carisoprodol).
كلورزوكسازون (Chlorzoxazone).
سايكلوبينزابرين (Cyclobenzaprine).
انترولين (Dantrolene).
ميتاكزالون (Metaxalone).
أورفينادرين (Orphenadrine).
ميثوكاربامول (Methocarbamol).
أسباب الشد العضلي في الساق أثناء النوم
الشد العضلي أثناء النوم الأمور التي تحدث بشكل لا إرادي وهي عبارة عن تشنجات تحدث لعضلة الساق أثناء النوم، وهي تشنجات مؤلمة، وقال تقرير صادر عن أطباء الأسرة الأمريكية يعاني ما يصل إلى 60٪ من البالغين، و7٪ من الأطفال من شد عضلي في الساق ليلًا، وتعدد أسباب الشد العضلي في الساق أثناء النوم، وقد تعود هذه الأسباب إلى وجود أمراض معينة يعاني منها المصاب، أو تناول بعض الأدوية.
الأسباب المرضية:
_فرط نشاط الغدة الدرقية.
_مرض الشلل الرعاش.
_ الفشل الكلوي الحاد
_قصور الغدة الدرقية.
_مرض السكري بأنواعه المختلفة.
_تلف الأعصاب نتيجة استخدام بعض علاجات السرطان.
_قصور الغدة الدرقية.
_مرض السكري بأنواعه المختلفة.
_تلف الأعصاب نتيجة استخدام بعض علاجات السرطان.
_هشاشة العظام.
_قصور الغدة الكظرية.
_فقر الدم.
_تليف الكبد.
وقد يكون سبب الشد العضلي، تناول بعض الأدوية مثل:
_أدوية علاج ارتفاع ضغط الدم.
موانع الحمل الفموية.
مدرات البول.
أدوية خفض الكوليسترول
علاج الشد العضلي في الساق أثناء النوم
هناك بعض الأمور البسيطة التي إن قمت بعملها في المنزل ستتمكن من التخلص من الشد العضلي في الساق وهي:
_ استرخاء القدم: عن طريق مد القدم والأصابع إلى الأمام بحيث تكون الأصابع والقدم في الأمام.
_حرك القدم باتجاه معاكس للشد: تساعد هذه العملية على التخلص من التشنج في عضلة الساق.
_ تناول عصير المخلل: ينصح بتناول عصير المخلل للتخلص من التشنجات في الساق.
_ وضع الكمادات: تساعد عملية وضع الكمادات الساخنة على تخفيف الألم، ومن الممكن أخذ حمام ساخن، يساعد على التخلص من التشنج العضلي أثناء النوم.
