توماس أديسون مخترح المصباح الكهربائي
يعد توماس أديسون أحد أشهر المخترعين، فهو مخترع المصباح الكهربائي، ولد عام1847 في مدينة ميلانو، وبسبب ظروف عائلية لم يستطيع أن يكمل تعليمه، فحصل على براءة اختراع المصباح الكهربائي، وأسس شركة إضاءة كهربائية في مدينة نيويورك.
من هو غراهام بيل مخترح الهاتف
في عام 1847 في اسكتلندا، ولد غراهام بيل، لأن والدته كانت تعاني من ضعف في السمع اهتم بنظام تعليم الصم، استطاع أن يخترع نظام الكلام غير المرئي، وهو نظام عبارة عن مجموعة من الرموز التي تدل على حركة الشفتين واللسان والحلق، وهو نظام يستخدم في تعليم الصم، وأبرز اختراعات غراهام بيل هو الهاتف.

هو سويدي الأصل، ولد عام 1833، هو مخترع كيميائي، وهو مخترع الديناميت، اخترعه عندما كان يُجرب خلط الرمل الناعم مع النيتروغليسرين وهو ما ينتج عنه التراب الدياتومي، فيحصل عن هذه الحالة أن تتحول المادة السائلة إلى معجون يستطيع تشكيله، وحصل على براءة اختراع الديناميت، وساعد هذا الاختراع على تقليل التكلفة عند الاحتياج إلى هدم جسور أو صخور.
من هو ألكسندر فلمنغ
ألكسندر فلمنغ هو مكتشف البنسلين، واكتشف الليزوزيم، وهو عبارة عن إنزيم موجود في اللعاب والدموع ومضاد إلى البكتيريا، ونال جائزة نوبل في الطب، وولد 1881، وكان يتمتع بقوة في الملاحظة.
من هو غوليلمو ماركوني
في عام 1874 ولد غوليلمو في إيطاليا، قام بتطوير نظام الاتصالات التي تتم بصورة لاسلكية عن طريق معرفته التلغراف اللاسلكي، حاز على جائزة نوبل عام 1909 مع كارل براون في مجال الفيزياء، وفي عام 1899 أسس شركة ماركوني تلغراف، وفي عام 1901 تمكن من إرسال إشارات لاسلكية عابرة المحيط الأطلسي، مكذبًا النظرية التي تقول إن انحناء الأرض يؤثر على الإرسال.
جيمس واط
ولد عام 1736، وهو مطور غرفة التكثيف المنفصلة للمحرك البخاري، بفضل هذا الاختراع أصبحت المحركات البخارية تلعب دور هام في الثورة الصناعية، وتوفي عام 1819.

اهتم منذ صغره بتعلم الرياضيات وعلم الفلك، وهو في عمر 19 عامًا أصبح معلم للرياضيات، في مرصد باريس عمل مع العالم بيير لابلاس عام 1817، قام جوزيف وجون فريمونت برسم خريطة توضح المنطقة التي تضع بين نهر الميسيسيبي ونهر ميزوري.
من هو تيم بيرنرزلي
هو أول من اخترع الشبكة العنكبوتية، هو مدير اتحاد شبكة الويب العالمية، درس في جامعة أكسفورد، عمل على وضع نموذج الخادم والعميل، وهو من قام بتحديد بروتوكول نقل النص التشعبي HTTP ولغة الترميز الخاصة بهذا النص التشعبي HTML.
