من أبرز مؤرخي عصره في تصنيفه العديد من المؤلفات التاريخية المهمة، مثل كتاب المقفى الكبير، والسلوك لمعرفة دولة الملوك وكتاب المواعظ والاعتبار، ألا وهو العالم تقى الدين المقريزي.

من هو المقريزي؟
من الشخصيات المهمة في التاريخ، ولد في مصر بحي الجمالية، ينحدر من أصول سورية ويمتد نسبه إلى علي ابن أبي طالب رضي الله عنه، تولى بعض المناصب في الدولة وبخاصة في ديوان الإنشاء، بمسمى وزراة الخارجية في وقتنا الحالي.
كان تلميذا لعبدالرحمن بن خلدون، وتأتي ثقافته المتنوعة ومعرفته الموسوعية من خلال رحلته الطويلة لتلقي العلم على يد أساتذة كبار داخل وخارج بلاده.
أسرة المقريزي ونشأته
مؤرخ الديار المصرية كما يلقب، أصله من بعلبك، وقد انتقل والده إلى القاهرة طلبا للرزق، لأن القاهرة كانت في تلك الفترة مركزا نشطا يقصده الناس طلبا للعلم أو العمل.
نشأ المقريزي نشأة علمية دينية، فدرس أصول المذهب الحنفي وحفظ القرآن، كما أرسله جده لأمه الذي اهتم به وكفل تعليمه إلى كل شيوخ عصره، وبدت عليه آمارات الذكاء، ثم انطلق بعد ذلك معتمدا على نفسه في الدرس والتحصيل، حتى أصبح علما من أعلام عصره في تلك الفترة.
مذهب المقريزي
- في عمر مبكر كان حنفي المذهب لأنه نشأ في رعاية جده كما قلنا، رغم أن والده كان حنبلي المذهب.
- تحول بعد ذلك إلى الشافعية وتعمق في دراستة بصورة موسعة، لدرجة أنه أتقنه حد التعصب لهم والتحامل على الحنفية، ولوحظ ذلك من خلال ترجمته للشافعية بخلاف المذاهب الأخرى.
مكانة المقريزي العلمية
العلم الموسوعي لم يوجد له مثيل في الدول الغربية في هذا الوقت، ذلك أن اهتم علماء هذا العصر بالخطط والآثار بكل ما تعنيهما الكلمتين، من تاريخ المدن بكل الأمكنة النابضة والشخصيات من علماء وتجار وحرفيين (جغرافيا وديموغرافيا) كأنه توثيق كامل للمدينة.
والرجل لم يقتصر أيضا على مصر فقط، بل كتب في تاريخ المغرب والحبشة (أثيوبيا) كما كتب في الفقه وعلوم القراءات، وله إسهامات أخرى فكتب في الكيماء، وهذا ما نقصده بقولنا على شخص موسوعي، ولأنه أيضا سار على نهج العلماء الموسوعين في ذلك الوقت، حيث كان امتدادا لهذه المدرسة، مثل الطبري وابن سينا.
لكن ما يقرب من 70% مما كتبه المقريزي كان التاريخ لاهتمامه الشديد به.

1- إمتاع الأسماع (15 مجلد ظهر بعد تحقيقه حوالي 6300 صفحة)
2- البيان والإعراب عما بأرض مصر من الأعراب
3- السلوك لمعرفة دول الملوك

6- المواعظ والاعتبار بذكر الخطط والآثار (يعتبره البعض من أهم الكتب للمقريزي)

متى توفي تقى الدين المقريزي؟
توفى المقريزي في القاهرة وهو يبلغ من العمر ثمانين عاما على الأرجح، سنة 845 هـ – 1441 م إلا أن السيوطي ذكر خلاف ذلك وأنه توفي سنة 840 هـ – 1436.
ويعود هذا الخلاف في الأصل إلى عدم المعرفة الدقيقة بتاريخ مولده، المقريزي فقد أشارالسخاوي بان أستاذه ابن حجر قال ذكر المقريزي في كتابه المواعظ والاعتباران ولادته كانت بعد سنة 760هـ، 1358م بينما يرى آخرون أن مولده كان سنة 769هـ.
